  • Fixed

Provider titles now sound natural in multilingual calls

Patients now hear familiar titles such as doctor or dentist in their own language when Xona discusses who they are booked with.

  • Fixed

Open-chair opportunities are clear at a glance

Today's open-chair rows now use a calendar icon and the right language, so staff can spot real schedule openings at a glance.

  • New

    Send reminders before appointment-free days

When a reminder date falls in a stretch with no appointments, Xona can move that batch to the previous appointment day while keeping the exact appointment date in every message.

  • Fixed

Staff-only treatments stay with your team

When callers ask for a treatment that is not available for online booking, Xona now creates a staff follow-up instead of switching them into a different bookable service. Booking still continues when the caller explicitly chooses an online-bookable option.

  • Fixed

"Not now" pauses only that outreach

When a patient declines a recall or open-slot offer by text, Xona now records it before closing the conversation and stops that exact outreach cycle. Appointment reminders and unrelated messages stay active.

  • Fixed

One link manages the whole family's appointments

Patients opening a secure booking link can now see every family member's live upcoming appointments, with accurate counts, and cancel or reschedule eligible visits without another phone-code step. Only scheduling details are shown.

  • Fixed

    SMS appointment activity stays accurate

Appointments booked, cancelled, or rescheduled by text keep appearing in Activities after a restart. A STOP sent during a reply now ends quietly instead of creating a false Needs-you item.

  • Fixed

Birthday greetings wait until they are ready

Xona now finishes detecting the patient's language before claiming the greeting or using the day's send capacity, so an unfinished greeting does not get stuck.

  • Improved

Secure booking links use the phone on file

Returning patients can receive the verification code at the masked phone number already bound to their secure link, without retyping it or completing another bot check.

  • New

See when Xona fixed an issue you encountered

A verified receipt now appears beside an affected call, text, or follow-up. It tells you whether the old record changed and whether staff still need to act.

  • Improved

Your AI sticks to each patient's language

Phone AI now stays in the caller's language for the whole call (still following them if they switch), missed-call text-backs go out in the patient's language, and your AI's default language is now picked from a list of 12 supported languages instead of typed by hand.

  • New

Curve Dental clinics can now self-connect

Curve Dental appears in Settings → Integrations: enter your Curve login and our team finishes the setup for you — no back-and-forth emails.

  • New

See what your team already closed in Needs you

Needs you now has a Done view: the last 100 items you and your team closed — who closed each one, when, and why. Open a closed item to see the request it came from.

  • Fixed

An apology for a misdial no longer stops a client's reminders

When someone texts back "sorry, wrong number", the AI now works out who is mistaken. If they dialled you by accident, nothing is paused. If the number really is not the client's, it still pauses — and when that number has called or texted you before, it asks them to confirm first instead of guessing.

  • Fixed

Fewer things in Needs you that you cannot act on

Two kinds of item stopped appearing. A recall text that bounces off a landline: recall keeps calling those clients, so there was nothing for you to finish. And a late thank-you — "sorry, only just saw this, thanks!" — which used to park as unfinished work.

  • Fixed

Callers stop being told the booking system is down

When the AI could not offer times, it used to tell the caller the booking system was having problems and hand them to your team — even when nothing was wrong. Now it gives the real reason (a service it still needs to know, or a change inside your cancellation window) and carries on booking.

  • New

See — and undo — when texts to a number are off

A conversation now tells you when texts to that number are switched off, with one click to turn them back on. When the phone carrier is the one blocking, it says so and names the only thing that works: asking the client to text START. Client records also stopped saying a client opted out when it was your own team that paused them.

  • Improved

Book: pick the length and the provider

Booking now always asks how long the visit should be — the service's usual length is one tap — and shows every provider as a filter, each with their own openings. Patient details open right inside the booking panel, and appointment types with no standard length in your practice system now ask instead of failing.

  • Improved

Calendar: click to book, safer saves

Hover any free slot to see exactly where a click will book, then click to open the New-appointment card — with length chips, the full service list, and a heads-up when the time lands on another appointment. New bookings and moves wait 10 seconds so Undo cancels cleanly, and bookings can text the patient a confirmation with the result shown in the patient's record.

  • New

    After-visit care texts

When a visit is marked complete in your practice system, Xona can text the patient the next morning — a welcome after their first visit, or aftercare with a full instruction page after a root canal, extraction, or filling. You pick which services get which message, everything sends in the patient's language, and you can skip anyone before it goes. Off until you turn it on.
