What’s new · shipping log
Xona keeps shipping.
Every release, in the words your front desk would use — no jargon, no roadmap promises. If it’s on this page, it’s already running in live clinics.

- Improved
Connecting your practice software is easier
The setup link from the Xona installer now works for a full 24 hours, survives page reloads, and picks the right database automatically. If the connection hiccups, you get live progress and a Try again button instead of an error page.
- Improved
ASAP list: open records and drag to book
On the Schedule Board, click a name in the ASAP list to open the patient's full record, and use the new drag handle to pull them onto the board to book.
- Improved
PMS setup now speaks your language
The Windows agent download and setup pages now display in all 13 languages — use the globe icon to switch, and the choice sticks. The download page also no longer needs a sign-in, so you can send its link straight to the person at your PMS computer. Find it under Settings → Integration → your PMS → Connect.

- New
Desktop notifications from your browser
Turn on browser notifications in Settings → Xona AI and your computer pops up an alert the moment Xona needs you — a new request, booking, or appointment change — even when the Xona tab is in the background. Use the Send test button to confirm it works. Works in Chrome, Edge, and Safari.

- Improved
Activity Log and Recall History tell the whole story
The Activity Log opens with 30-day stat cards for texts, calls, recall, recovery, and appointments — click a card to filter. Recall History is now a true call log: every attempt shows its own outcome, and Booked shows who really booked — by the AI call, at the clinic, or on their own.
- Improved
The AI receptionist remembers your patients
When a patient calls or texts, the AI already knows their recent calls, the reminders and recall messages you sent them, and any open requests — so returning patients are greeted like the regulars they are, not like strangers.
- New
A brand-new Schedule Board
Your day, week, and month now live on one fast board: drag to book or move appointments, see gaps and overlaps clearly, and keep an ASAP waitlist beside the schedule — drag a waiting patient straight onto an open slot.
- New
Do-not-contact, visible and reversible
A new Do-not-contact tab under Reminders shows every patient and number currently excluded from messages — who set it, why, and until when. Patients who text START are re-enabled automatically, and carrier-blocked numbers explain exactly how to get messages flowing again.

- Fixed
Families who share one phone are sorted out correctly
A family member's request no longer shows on their sibling's card, and Client 360 now opens from every conversation — including family texts the AI could not match to one member.
- Improved
Appointments now name the real procedures
Visits synced from your PMS show their actual procedures (like "Crown +2 more") instead of a generic "Treatment" label, so the schedule reads the way your clinic talks.
- New
Today: your whole front-desk day on one page
Reminders, recall, recovery and every conversation that needs a person now land in one worklist, so nothing waits in a separate inbox.
- New
Recovery review queue: win back clients, you approve every send
Xona proposes lapsed clients to reach out to and matches them to open slots. Each message waits in the review queue until you approve it.
- New
Book any client in two taps, from any page
The Book button in the top bar shows first and next available slots for a service and provider — schedule while the client is still on the phone.
- New
Birthday greetings, sent for you
Xona can text each client a greeting on their birthday — in their own language, with your wording. Off by default; turn it on when you are ready.
- New
Use your clinic's own words anywhere in Xona
Turn on Wording mode from your profile menu, click any label, and reword it for your clinic — now including composed sentences with names and dates in them.
